Hyperliquid Price Skyrockets 13%. Will HYPE Break Above $70 in 2026?

Hyperliquid price has increased more than 13% within the last 24 hours, starting at the lowest point of the day at $22.20 and peaking at the highest point of $25.10. An upward trend is well observed in two different upward directions, and several golden crosses are drawn on the MACD indicator, indicating a strong bullish trend. Even with a number of overbought conditions represented on the RSI (Relative Strength Index), the price has still maintained an upward trend. The price is now at 24.75, and the support and resistance are 24.40 and $25.10 respectively.

In order to have a more accurate picture of the market and place the current chart into perspective, we are going to take a look at the price action on HyperLiquid over the past 24 hours. Hyperliquid price started the trading session on December 19th, 2025, in a downward channel which reached a low of $22.20. Another Golden Cross was now seen on the MACD, and the RSI was now in the oversold zone. This caused a price surge when the asset moved into a new rising trend to hit a high of $24.20. But the price went into the overbought range indicating a high market. The MACD showed a Death Cross and the price pulled back.

At 10:40 AM UTC a few hours later, the MACD Golden Cross signaled a new burst in bullish momentum, which shattered the resistance at $24.20. The price surged to $24.70. The price was again overbought and then another Death Cross on the MACD caused a minor correction and Hyperliquid price fell to $23.72. Soon a second Golden Cross occurred and the price shot to its peak of the day at $25.10. At this level, the asset was again overbought and the price was retracted at the end of the trading day.

HyperLiquid Finds Support at $24.40

On December 20th, 2025, HyperLiquid price entered the range-bound market with the support of 24.40 and the resistance of 25.10. The price has been fluctuating between these two levels with the RSI showing that the price is in an overbought condition and the MACD still giving an indication of a Golden Cross. Concerning the prevailing market conditions, the price can retest the resistance at $25.10.

Will HyperLiquid Surpass $25.10 or Fall to $23.74?

The short-term Hyperliquid price is likely to be trapped between the support at $24.40 and the resistance at $25.10. But over the long run a breakout above or below these levels may result in additional price movement in the direction of the breakout. In case of a break of the support level at 24.40, the next level would be $23.74. On the other hand, should the price cross the resistance level at $25.10, the next resistance will be at $26.18.
