Is Crypto A Bubble? Bulls Will Definitely lose In 2026

Crypto Market Snapshot

As of December 11, while this article is being written Bitcoin is trading near $90K and is in a downtrend after October 6. With the crypto market sliding downward, an important question emerges: Is crypto a bubble at these valuations? And if it is, how long before it bursts—or if it isn’t, when will the market recover? We have all the answers to your questions in this long form article. You just need some patience and time for this long form article to start making sense.

On the daily time frame whole of the crypto market looks like it is ready for more bloodbath. Major Alts are also signalling weakness in them. Most of the Crypto currencies have a death cross on daily and with that they have relative weakness in their RSI as they are near to over-sold levels. If you would say RSI being oversold is bullish then you are misinformed about the indicator. RSI being over-sold shows the relative weakness and the big players are selling hence you should sell and not buy for the time being.

Let’s deep dive into the 2026 scenario.

Crypto Total Market cap overview

At the time of writing this blog Total Market Cap sits at $3.04T. And it is showing strong bearish consolidation. Short term bulls are getting faded into resistance. The bounces are getting sold which is a bad sign for bulls and you definitely should not be a part of the losing trade. This is going to get worse if not better, heading towards 2026. If you are still bullish it is better to wait until a rock solid bottom is made across the board. Blindly punting long is not working in Crypto space since October 6.

We cautioned our followers on October 10, the same day BTC crashed hard. Here is the blog for the beginning of the Crypto winter: https://cryptojist.com/is-the-crypto-winter-here-signs-the-bear-market-has-begun/

We also made our twitter and telegram followers aware that Crypto entered a bear market with the break of $118K.

Death Cross across the board (Detailed)

If you know what a death cross is then kudos and if you don’t not to worry. You can learn it here.

Major Crypto and alts have a death cross on daily and this time there’s no chance to get saved before a big reset.
Here is the daily chart of BTC and ETH for more context.

Crypto : Bitcoin chart
Death cross on daily and rejection from $94K supply, which was once a demand zone.
Crypto : Ethereum chart
Death cross on daily chart of ETH as well.

Almost all the charts have a death cross on daily. This is the signal for a good reset coming in for crypto in 2026.

Losing ETF Interest

ETFs saw major outflows throughout November. Once the money is out there’s no steam left in the run to sustain the rally. Past week it tried to recover however outflows began and the rally faded. Hence, it clearly shows that the interest is running away from across the board. Bitcoin ETF alone faced an outflow of around $379 Billion for November 2025. Staying cautious is key here. Punting blind longs won’t work in this environment.

Macro Outlook

Macro is not looking good as well, Stock market is also heated, Inflation is running hot, Job data is also weak. Nominal GDP is not yet shrinking. However, the numbers are not good, a slowdown is visible across all the major economies.

What to do in 2026?

As per our analysts you need to hunt airdrops or find good liquidity pools to earn a decent return on your portfolio instead of trying to buy the dip or punting longs blindly.

Passive sources of income proves to be a better strategy than actively trading in a bear market.

Also to conclude: our analysts expect the bear market to end in October of the next year. Hence, the bulls are not going to win until then as per our analysts.
